Reporting To: ICT Director (Senior ICT Officer day to day)
One of the Colleges of the University of Oxford, Brasenose College has over 650 students and a reputation for excellence academically in teaching, research, and as a conference venue. Reporting to the ICT Director, the key responsibilities of the ICT Support Officer will be:
Providing quality IT support to end users (including staff, Fellows, conference guests, and students). Audio Visual support for teaching rooms and some events. Assisting in support of existing data management systems (including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, submission portals and email (Outlook 365) etc.). Assist in supporting smooth daily running of college networks, servers, and other key systems. This can include setting up new users and removing leavers on multiple systems. Enforce & monitor compliance of the college’s ICT security strategy at end user level. Depending on experience, opportunity to run some internal ICT Office projects.
Terms and Conditions of Employment
Appointment: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract from May 2026 to 31st May 2027 (To provide additional operational support to the existing IT department during a period of Maternity leave) Salary: Brasenose College Grade 6 salary range (£35,451.00 - £41,406.00 per annum), dependent on qualifications and experience Hours of Work: 35 hours per week. This is an onsite working role. Probation: The post is subject to a 6 month probationary period. Notice: This appointment may be terminated by either side by giving two months’ notice in writing.
