A minimum commitment of <strong>2-3 shifts per week</strong> is required</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard</b></H2> </div><div><p>As a Tactical Security Guard assigned to a sensitive educational environment, you’ll be a key player in maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for staff, students, and visitors. <br><br>Duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Proactively patrolling high-traffic areas by foot</li> <li>Responding to incidents and emergencies quickly and effectively</li> <li>Enforcing the Criminal Code, Trespass to Property Act, and site-specific regulations</li> <li>Observing and reporting suspicious behaviour or safety hazards</li> <li>Assisting in medical emergency response and supporting on-site evacuations</li> <li>Conducting site checks, verifying identity, and managing access points</li> <li>Writing detailed incident reports and maintaining accurate records</li> <li>Supporting community engagement efforts to promote safety and awareness</li> <li>Collaborating with local law enforcement when required</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li>Be Authorized to work in Canada</li> <li>Must be Use of Force certified with atleast 1 year Tactical security experience</li> <li>Must have valid Ontario Security Guard License</li> <li> <p>Must have Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification(WSIB Approved)</p> </li> <li> <p>Must have experience working with Vulnerable population</p> </li> <li>Must be able to commute to Downtown Toronto with no onsite parking</li> <li> <p>Working Knowledge of Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act enforcement</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong documentation and report-writing abilities</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for the duration of your shift</p> </li> <li> <p>Computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Suite)</p> </li> <li> <p>Self-defence, powers of arrest, or EMR training is considered a strong asset</p> </li> </ul> <p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> </p> <p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span>This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.</span> </p> <p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><strong>SSTOR</strong></p> <p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> </p></div></div></div>
