Notify management or emergency services as needed.</li> <li>Client Safety: Ensure the safety of clients and staff, maintaining a calm and professional presence.</li> <li>Documentation: Maintain logs of patrols, incidents, and any unusual observations throughout the shift.</li> <li>Rule Enforcement: Ensure clients follow facility rules, intervening when necessary but in a non-confrontational manner.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications for Recovery Healthcare Security Guard</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li> <p>Valid Manitoba Security Guard License (as required by the province)</p> </li> <li> <p>First Aid/CPR Certification required or considered an asset</p> </li> <li> <p>Previous security, healthcare, shelter, or customer service experience considered an asset</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience monitoring security cameras (CCTV) and responding to alarm systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong observation and situational awareness skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with clients, staff, and visitors</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emergency situations</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to write clear and accurate incident and shift reports</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during patrols</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:'Arial', sans-serif">This could be more than a job!
