About this role

Fixed Term / Secondment 12 months / Part Time 0.2 FTE (7.5 hours)

The Clinical Practice Educator (CPE) role will play a crucial role in shaping the clinical skills and professional development of physician associate students through supervised, practical, hands-on learning experiences in secondary care environments, delivering high-quality bedside teaching and facilitating theoretical knowledge to real-world clinical settings.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

Experienced physician associate, with at least 3-years of clinical experience in a secondary care environment Experience delivering workplace-based PA / clinical education and supervision of student healthcare professionals Understanding of the skills, clinical knowledge and attitudes necessary for a newly qualified PA Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills Enthusiasm and ability to solve problems

The appointment will be made at Entry level AFC Band 7 or AFC Band 8a pay scale depending on experience and clinical status. Relevant salary scales are:

AFC Entry Level Band 7 £56,276 per annum pro rata

AFC Entry Level Band 8a £64,156 per annum pro rata
