Location: Springfield Residential - 2200 Lake Victoria Dr, Springfield, IL 62703 <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Residential Center - Adult Male and Female population</li> </ul> Work Schedule: <ul> <li>Two days Per Week (16-20 hours)</li> <li>This role has the potential to be a hybrid position (on-site at Springfield, and Work from Home)</li> </ul> Dietitians responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Consults with and instructs clients with complex nutritional deficiencies, determining extent and duration of diet therapy and instructs clients and clients' families in appropriate diet upon dis-charge.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Reviews and interprets physician prescribed diets, calculating special diets, writing nutritional care plans, and evaluating and documenting clients' response to diet therapy.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Interviews clients with complex nutritional deficiencies, determines suitability for treatment and prepares written evaluations of clients' nutritional state.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Confers with physicians and nursing personnel in order to clarify orders, recommend appropriate diet treatments and exchange client information.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">May attend and contribute to client care meetings and conferences with physicians, nurses and other personnel in order to promote, and ensure proper dietary care.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Makes recommendations regarding development of master general menu as well as departmental policies and procedures.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> Job Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a closely related field required</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Current Dietician Nutritionist licensure (LDN) active in the state of Illinois</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">General knowledge of the physical, cognitive and psychosocial functioning level of the client population;
