Program, set-up programs and fixturing for CNC equipment (VMC), operate inspection equipment (calipers, micrometer, etc.) Ability to set up tooling and enter tool offsets. Perform some trigonometry functions when needed. Must possess understanding of surface feet per minute to calculate speed and feeds for tooling.</p> <p>Tools: CNC equipment (VMC), operate inspection equipment, hand tools, cranes, lift trucks, grinders, manual lathe, drill presses, universal mills, saws, micrometers, hoists, dial indicators, verniers, layout tools, welders, etc. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>Key Job Responsibilities</b></u></H2> </div><div><ol> <li>Re-grinds and sharpens tools as required.</li> <li>Performs minor maintenance and repair on equipment.</li> <li>When required, spot welds.</li> <li>Obeys all safety rules and performs housekeeping assignments.</li> <li>Cross-functional work force.</li> <li>Maintains machine tooling and jigs in an orderly fashion. This does not include vocational school experience.
