providing the essential resources the world relies on.</p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>Reporting to the Manager, Project Manager Office, the Cyber Security Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and successfully delivering cybersecurity initiatives across Teck Digital Systems (TDS).</p> <p> </p> <p>This role manages project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications to ensure cybersecurity projects align with enterprise security strategy, operational requirements, and governance standards.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Cyber Security Project Manager will oversee initiatives related to areas such as:</p> <p><br>• Security monitoring<br>• Identity & access management<br>• Network security<br>• OT/IT security integration<br>• Infrastructure hardening<br>• Security tooling deployments<br>• Compliance and resiliency initiatives</p> <p> </p> <p>This role ensures cybersecurity solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with operational and enterprise security objectives.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>• Create project documents and associated planning documentation.<br>• Facilitate effective project scheduling, activity tracking, monitoring, controlling, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.<br>• Manage unresolved risks and issues, including mitigation planning, resolution options, and escalation recommendations.<br>• Prepare regular project status reports including project deliverables, risks/issues, timelines, milestones, and forecasted effort to completion.<br>• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, operational sites, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of cybersecurity initiatives.<br>• Support governance, audit, compliance, and operational readiness activities associated with cybersecurity programs.<br>• Additional responsibilities as required by the PMO Team Lead, including vendor coordination, deliverable tracking, testing support, operational readiness activities, and requirements traceability.</p> <p> </p> <p>Safety Leadership</p> <p><br>• Be a courageous safety leader, adhering to and sponsoring safety and environmental rules and procedures.</p> <p> </p> <p>Cyber Security Delivery Governance</p> <p> </p> <p>• Utilize established project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) depending on project context.<br>• Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies) with clear mitigation and escalation plans.<br>• Lead steering committee updates, governance reporting, and executive communications.<br>• Ensure cybersecurity projects align with organizational governance, architecture, operational technology (OT), and compliance requirements.<br>• Support the development and maintenance of project management standards, procedures, and delivery frameworks.</p> <p> </p> <p>Project Management</p> <p><br>• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle activities from initiation and planning through implementation, testing, deployment, transition to operations, and project close-out.<br>• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, financial forecasts, resource allocations, and risk/issue logs.<br>• Ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met while maintaining delivery quality and operational stability.<br>• Coordinate change management activities including communication plans, stakeholder engagement, training, and operational readiness.<br>• Ensure project delivery aligns with Teck Digital Systems governance processes and cybersecurity standards.<br>• Manage interdependencies across infrastructure, cybersecurity, operational technology (OT), enterprise applications, and site operations.</p> <p> </p> <p>Stakeholder Management</p> <p><br>• Act as the primary liaison between cybersecurity teams, business stakeholders, operational sites, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.<br>• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and governance meetings to gather requirements, validate scope, and ensure alignment.<br>• Provide regular project status updates to executive sponsors, steering committees, and operational stakeholders.<br>• Escalate risks, issues, and resource constraints proactively to ensure no surprises in delivery.</p> <p> </p> <p>Technical & Operational Coordination</p> <p><br>• Coordinate implementation activities involving cybersecurity tools, infrastructure upgrades, integrations, and operational technology environments.<br>• Support testing coordination, operational readiness activities, cutover planning, and transition to sustainment.<br>• Ensure technical and functional documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained.<br>• Support issue triage and resolution activities during testing, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization phases.<br>• Coordinate security assessments, remediation activities, and compliance-driven initiatives where required.</p> <p> </p> <p>Vendor & Partner Management</p> <p><br>• Coordinate with cybersecurity vendors, consultants, implementation partners, and managed service providers.<br>• Review vendor deliverables, Statements of Work (SOWs), project change requests, and implementation plans.<br>• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual commitments and delivery expectations.</p> <p> </p> <p>Relationship Focus</p> <p> </p> <p>• Builds collaborative relationships across business units, operational sites, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners.<br>• Promotes trust, transparency, and alignment across quality.<br>• Maintains strong delivery discipline and accountability.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>• 5–10+ years of experience managing infrastructure and/or cybersecurity projects.<br>• Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains such as:<br>o Security Monitoring<br>o Identity & Access Management<br>o Endpoint Security<br>o Network Security<br>o OT/IT Security<br>o Infrastructure Resiliency<br>o Security Governance & Compliance<br>• Experience delivering projects in complex enterprise environments.<br>• Experience working with operational technology (OT) environments is considered an asset.<br>• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).<br>• Experience managing cross-functional technical and operational teams.<br>• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.<br>• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project or Azure DevOps<br>• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience required<br>• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) designation required<br>• Experience in mining,
