You will work closely with the quality, engineering, operations, product line management, and project management departments to have a successful product launch onto a manufacturing site. <strong>This position will sit onsite, 5 days a week in Claremont, North Carolina. </strong></span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;Times New Roman', serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;Times New Roman', serif"><span style="arial black', sans-serif"><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style=""><span style="">Active participation in new product development, sustaining, investigation and cost</span><span style=""> </span><span style="">reduction projects assigned, overseeing adherence to the documented PDP procedures. </span></span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Complete quality deliverables (control plan, packaged product review and retrospective review) for assigned new product development projects in a timely manner.</span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Active involvement on pre-production runs collaborating with NPI team to identify design and process improvements. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Conduct packaged product reviews for onsite new product launches. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Conduct random process audits on initial production orders of new product launches. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Support the resolution of lab testing nonconformances for assigned projects, using the 5 whys root cause analysis technique. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Participate in D and PFMEAs for assigned projects, monitor their completeness, and use of proper ratings. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Collaborate with site NPI and Operations Quality teams to identify areas to improve design for manufacturability, introduce poke yoke and other solutions to address repetitive manufacturing quality issues. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Lead the resolution of design related customer or internal complaints to determine proper root cause and corrective/preventive actions. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Support the Quality Monitoring Program, including the review of test plans, test reports and resolution of identified nonconformances with the involved manufacturing sites. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Analyze local product/process deviations to identify repetitive issues related to the product design, and drive improvements to reduce the number of deviations. </span></li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">Support special quality projects or initiatives as needed.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0in;Times New Roman', serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;Times New Roman', serif"><span style="arial black', sans-serif"><strong>SKILLS REQUIRED</strong></span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;Times New Roman', serif"><span style="">Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, &amp;
