<p>In our ‘always on’ world, we believe it’s essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do.</p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt">In this role, you will be based in Suzhou, China, and be responsible for ensuring that quality procedures and policies for products and services are current, consistently applied, and aligned with divisional and corporate requirements. The role <span style="background-color:white">leads</span> the implementation and maintenance of an effective Quality Management System (QMS), directs the ISO 9001 program, and promotes a strong culture of continuous improvement, while ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and met.</span></p> <p><span style="background-color:white;color:deepskyblue;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">How You'll Help Us Connect the World:</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a Quality Management System compliant with the latest ISO 9001, TL 9000 standard and ensure continuous certification.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Continuously review quality systems and procedures to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Promote a culture of data-driven decision making, prevention, and continuous improvement across the site.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Lead and support structured continuous improvement initiatives.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Promote and lead the use of proactive quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, and benchmarking.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Use QMS audits, process and product audits, and customer feedback to drive improvements and recommend changes to materials, processes, products, or services.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure effective introduction of new or improved products, processes, and materials.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Ensure an effective Supplier Quality Assurance program and work with Procurement and suppliers to drive continuous supplier improvement.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Develop and maintain a Quality Information System to track, analyze, and report key quality metrics to management.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Develop and manage the Quality Department’s annual capital and operating budgets.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Manage and develop Quality team members, ensuring training and development needs are met.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Participate as an active member of site management and product teams to ensure corporate quality standards are achieved.</span></p> <p><span style="color:deepskyblue">Required Qualifications for Consideration:</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Five or more years of Quality Management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / TL9000 Quality Management System standards.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Familiar with telecommunication industry field applications, products, and related manufacturing process.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Hands-on experience with quality tools such as TQM, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Poka-Yoke.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and proficient in English.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and international boundaries.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Ability to drive change and continuous improvement initiatives.</span></p> <p><span style="color:deepskyblue">You Will Excite Us If You Have:</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Experience leading site-level continuous improvement or quality transformation initiatives.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">• Experience managing quality teams in a multinational manufacturing environment.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:deepskyblue">Why CommScope:</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt">CommScope is on a quest to deliver connectivity that empowers how we live, work, and learn.
