Install, wire and troubleshoot all electrical components. Must be instrumental in training all new electricians in all pay grades. Assemble a variety of different electrical components. Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Close attention to detail</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Meet minimum safety and 5S standards.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Troubleshoot both 12 V DC and 110V AC circuitry.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Troubleshoot all systems.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Repair defects.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Report repetitive quality issues.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Be able to use hand and air tools as required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Must be able to differentiate between color shades.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Meet all QA and QC standards for each assembly task per.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure parts are assembled per instructions for proper appearance and function.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist in training auto electricians of all skill levels.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Be compliant with all the rules of conduct and attendance per the company handbook.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Other duties and responsibilities as required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure that hazardous waste is placed into the proper container(s).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintains all satellite and storage containers in a closed position unless adding or removing waste.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Familiar with Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Knows spill response procedures and evacuation routes</li> </ul> Qualifications/Training: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to read and understand complex schematics and electrical layouts and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices including, but not limited to volt meters and test lights.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Understand relationship between voltage, current, and resistance.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Familiar with the safe operation of various tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Complete understanding of both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to use basic mathematics.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Must have good knowledge of automotive electronics.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Must complete company approved electrical training course.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Be trained in Hazardous Materials Handling Operations with an annual refresher course.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Hazardous waste training shall be provided to employee within six months of the date the employee filled this position and a review of this training provided every 12 months thereafter. Employee shall be supervised until training is complete.
