As a global leader in memorialization, we take pride in our craftsmanship and commitment to quality — and it all starts with our people.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The <strong>Group Leader – 3D Printing/Additive Production</strong> is responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of production operations and ensuring timely production of quality products for the 3D printing department. The Lead will also be responsible for manufacturing support activities including preparation of 3D print files, lab specimen testing, and technical troubleshooting of machine electromechanical components. In this position you will serve in a leadership role for Matthews’ established and quickly growing 3D sand printing department. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This is a split-shift position, 40+ hours with overtime opportunities available. Shift hours will be 7am - 3:30am, but can be flexible. Identifies need for and develops training programs.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintains and verifies team quality performance with Quality Control personnel.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintains accurate and adequate materials and inventory needed for specific work areas.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Communicates effectively amongst team members and other team leaders to ensure smooth and effective production between departments.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Responsible for safety compliance of team members as well as anyone operating in team area.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Keeps abreast of new equipment, advances in technology and emerging trends in production, and disseminates such knowledge to the team.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges relating to machine operation and department production.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Reviews working practices to ensure measurable improvements in productivity and knowledge transfer.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Liaises with external technical support personnel.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maximizes production efficiency by identifying waste and improvements in process.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Directs investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Additional duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technolofy Business Administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">6+ years progressive production experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial 3D printing</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">3+ years in a leadership role</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Possess a mechanical aptitude and desire to troubleshoot elecromechanical systems.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A basic understanding of 3D printing technology.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Modeling/Nesting experience with Autodesk products (Fusion, AutoCAD, Netfabb)</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to work with and influence peers and management.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">*This position requires access to technology, material, or technical data that is subject to export control laws (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
