Visit the <a href="https://bagdadaztown.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bagdad town websi</a><a href="https://bagdadaztown.com/">te</a> to learn more.</p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You Will Do</b></H2> </div><div><p>Under general supervision, collaborate with others to give direction on and improve performance of site Industrial Control Systems.</p> <ul> <li>Follows and promotes Freeport-McMoRan safety and environmental programs and practices, communicates safety implications related to Process Automation (PA) and directs Industrial Control System (ICS) cybersecurity practices and policies. </li> <li>Gives directions on Process Automation engineering topics and projects.</li> <li>Develops and participates in engineering project proposals, and engineering designs, and has ability to verify the quality of project work meets site Process Automation standards.</li> <li>Maintains the performance of ICS hardware and software. Identifies opportunities to implement process improvement and optimization through automation while improving Operator and Operations effectiveness.</li> <li>Participates in the implementation and maintenance of the Process Control Network (PCN) while maintaining plant performance, cyber security, and plant historian systems. </li> <li>Specifies and reviews specialized, analytical and advanced instrumentation solutions to be integrated into the site ICS.</li> <li>Implements Process Automation equipment life cycle management and develops plans proposals, and budgetary estimates to ensure equipment remains current and up to date.</li> <li>Performs other duties as required.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You Bring To Freeport</b></H2> </div><div><p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and three (3) years related experience in engineering relevant to Process Automation, OR </li> <li>Master’s degree in appropriate Engineering discipline and two (2) years related experience in engineering relevant to Process Automation.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Emerson DeltaV and Rockwell PLC experience</li> <li>PLC, HMI, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and/or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) manufacture training or certification</li> <li>Experience with plant process historians or similar database storage and retrieval systems</li> <li>Experience with ICS/PCN network architecture, communication and security</li> <li>Experience in or understanding of mining and mineral processing and systems </li> <li>Familiarity with or training in NFPA 70 and NEC or Electrical Journeyman Training</li> </ul> <p> </p></div></div></div><table style="width:1332.31px" border="0"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="height:36.0px"> <div> <div id="tor__fintJobDescFooter_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__fintJobDescFooter_content"> <p><strong>What We Offer You</strong></p> <p>The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently <strong>$93,000-$127,500.</strong> This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
