The historic Chino mine was among the world's first low-grade, open-pit copper mines. Today, the operation consists of a 36,000-metric-ton-per-day concentrator that produces copper and a 150-million-pound-per-year solvent extraction/electrowinning plant that produces copper cathode from solution generated by run-of-mine leaching. </p> <p>The community of Silver City boasts various restaurants, arts, entertainment, cliff dwellings, festivals and much more. Acts as a subject matter expert as required and assists in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies.</li> <li>Research new reliability processes and identifies methods to predict and improve reliability.</li> <li>Perform onsite evaluation of existing processes and equipment and sets expectations within the department for precision maintenance.</li> <li>Review and establish Key Performance Indices for equipment.</li> <li>Identify PM opportunities and maintenance plans by leading failure mode and effect analysis.</li> <li>Analyze current CMMS data for equipment health indicators and identifies reports to measure health indicators.</li> <li>Proactively develops and provides safety perspective for equipment and processes; makes recommendations of engineering solutions or methods to eliminate hazards.</li> <li>Perform other duties as required.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You Bring To Freeport</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and five (5) years related experience in Engineering, OR </li> <li>Master’s degree in appropriate Engineering discipline and three (3) years related experience in Engineering.</li> <li>Proficiency of MS Office suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project </li> <li>Ability to listen and understand information and ideas and express thought and ideas clearly and concisely through oral and written communication.</li> <li>Customer focused to provide quality service to improve equipment and process reliability. </li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of reliability centered maintenance practices.</li> <li>Experience with engineering design drawings and schematics </li> <li>Self-starter with solid integrity </li> <li>Understand the importance of safety, legality and quality.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Experience with predictive maintenance, leadership, maintenance plans, and downtime reporter </li> <li>Supervisory/ lead experience</li> </ul></div></div></div><p><strong>What We Offer You </strong></p> <p>The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently <strong>$105,000-$145,000</strong>. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
