Serving a variety of student populations, including College of Arts & Sciences majors, exploratory, pre-professional, and other specialized groups, each section is capped at 28 typically grouped by major or shared commonality. The course supports students’ transition to UC by fostering a sense of belonging and classroom community, connecting them with campus resources and networks, and guiding their exploration of academic and professional pathways. </span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Position Summary</H2> </div><div><p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:105%;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif"><span style="color:black">The PD 1015 Peer Instructor (PI) is an on-campus co-op position that plays a critical role in the success, transition, and professional growth of first-year students enrolled in one section of PD 1015 during fall 2026. In collaboration with the PD 1015 Instructor, the PI serves as a co-facilitator, mentor, and connector delivering a positive and affirming curricular experience. The start date is August 17 and the end date is December 4, 2026. Note, if the Peer Instructor is an Arts & Sciences major, they may be eligible to earn co-op credit towards the A&S co-op track.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px
