Dr. Lander’s recent funded NIH grant involves multi-disciplinary studies, and includes genetic manipulation of trypanosomes, phenotypic analyses of mutant cell lines, mammalian cell culture, proteomic and transcriptomic analyses, enzymatic activity, and state-of-the-art microscopy techniques, among other approaches to investigate cell signaling mechanisms in trypanosomatids. Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts and presentations of research results.</li> <li>Participate/assist in manuscript writing for publication in scientific journals and/or presentation.</li> <li>Keep informed of developments in field to maintain and enhance professional expertise.
