The CAECM Department also houses the Civil Engineering M.Eng., M.S., and Ph.D. graduate programs, as well as the Architectural Engineering M.Eng. program, with 85 graduate students across programs. The Department has strong educational and research programs in building systems, structural engineering, construction engineering, transportation systems and infrastructure, and geotechnical and pavement engineering. It emphasizes integrated building systems design and prepares students for professional practice at the intersection of engineering disciplines. The program has robust enrollment and offers BS degree tracks in structural engineering, building mechanical systems, building lighting and electrical systems, and construction management, with options to pursue MS and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering, and an M.Eng. in Architectural Engineering. Appointment rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
