Duties include, but are not limited to: setting up, re-stocking, and resetting teaching labs; washing and disinfecting laboratory glassware; treatment and disposal of biohazardous waste; growth and maintenance of bacterial cultures; preparing and dispensing bacterial cultures for student use; updating labs and procedures, operating the Canvas Learning Management Software; instructing laboratory sections; and use/maintenance of standard lab equipment including autoclaves, microscopes, balances, and dishwashers.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is a 12-month staff position, which will include assigned duties from the department head, based on need, during the summer period.
