This position is responsible for the administration and coordination of key operational functions that support the student housing experience from application through move-out. The pay for this position is $45,000.00, annually.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversees housing assignments, billing processes, software administration, student communications, and access management while ensuring operational efficiency, data integrity, and exceptional customer service.</li> <li>Serving as a central resource within Student Housing.</li> <li>Management of housing assignments, contracts, and housing applications. </li> <li>Collaborates with campus partners to manage housing processes, support student success, and maintain accurate housing records and financial transactions.</li> <li>Assists with occupancy management, recruitment initiatives, departmental communications, and the supervision and training of student employees.</li> <li>Serve as the Student Housing representative at orientations and admissions events.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, management, or a related field.</li> <li>0-1 years of experience in student housing, residential housing or program administration/operations.</li> <li>Working knowledge of student housing management systems, such as StarRez.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.</li> <li>Must maintain confidential information.</li> <li>Some weekend and evening work may be required during peak periods.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Free tuition through Purdue University Global.</li> <li>Fee remission for a traditional Purdue degree for yourself, your spouse, and your child(ren).</li> <li>Insurance starts on first day of employment.</li> <li>Generous Paid Time Off – additional PTO in December.</li> <li>Additional benefit information: <a href="https://www.purdue.edu/hr/benewell/">https://www.purdue.edu/hr/benewell/</a></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Purdue will not sponsor employment authorization for this position.</strong></li> <li>Resumes and cover letters that contain portraits or personal information will not be reviewed by the hiring committee.</li> <li>A background check and misconduct check will be required for employment in this position</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><em>Purdue Fort Wayne is an EEO/AA.</em></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>FLSA Status</b></H2> </div><div>Exempt</div></div></div>
