This role offers stability, challenges, and long-term opportunities.</p> <p> </p> <p><br><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>As a CNC Grinder, you will play a critical role in manufacturing high-precision carbide cutting tools using advanced CNC tool grinding machines. You will be responsible for programming, setup, operation, and inspection to ensure consistent, premium-quality output. This position is ideal for a hands-on machinist who values accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.</p> <p> </p> <p><br><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>· None</p> <p> </p> <p><br><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p> <p>· Set up CNC grinding machines, including tooling, offsets, and adjustments.</p> <p>· Program and operate CNC grinders to meet exact blueprint and customer specifications.</p> <p>· Read and interpret detailed blueprints, prints, and technical documentation.</p> <p>· Inspect parts using precision measurement and quality control tools.</p> <p>· Monitor production quality throughout the process—catching issues before they become problems.</p> <p>· Troubleshoot quality concerns and communicate effectively with programmers and leadership.</p> <p>· Perform daily machine inspections to ensure safe, efficient operation.</p> <p>· Maintain organized, clean, and safe workstations.</p> <p>· Support continuous improvement and take ownership of your work.</p> <p>· Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support production goals.</p> <p> </p> <p><br><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <p>· High school diploma or GED required.</p> <p>· 2+ years of 5-Axis CNC setup and operation experience, preferably on ANCA- or NUM-controlled platforms.</p> <p>· Strong understanding of carbide cutting tools and grinding processes.</p> <p>· Machining or CNC-related certification preferred—but proven hands-on experience is valued just as highly.</p> <p>· Knowledge of cutters, inserts, feeds, and speeds is a strong advantage.</p> <p>· CNC programming experience is a plus, but not required.</p> <p>· Manufacturing experience preferred; motivated learners are encouraged to apply.</p> <p> </p> <p><br><strong>Skills That Will Set You Apart</strong></p> <p>· Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.</p> <p>· Ability to follow established processes while continuously improving output.</p> <p>· Solid problem-solving skills within a production environment.</p> <p>· Clear, professional communication skills and team-oriented attitude.</p> <p>· Ability to work independently while contributing to shop-wide success.</p> <p>· Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with evolving technology.</p> <p> </p> <p><br><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <p>· Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.</p> <p>· Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.</p> <p>· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely.</p> <p>· Comfort working around CNC machinery and shop equipment.</p> <p> </p> <p><br><strong>Take the Next Step</strong></p> <p>If you’re a CNC Grinder looking for challenging work, modern equipment, and long-term stability, we want to hear from you.
