Follow @Kennametal: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.</p><div id="tor__fextListingLayout_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__fextListingLayout_content"> <h3>Warehouse Operator - Experienced</h3> <h3>Bedford, PA</h3> <h3>Shift: 1st, 7AM - 3PM, Monday- Friday</h3> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> Acts as an experienced operator within a warehouse: Receives, tracks materials, resolves issues as related to tasks, trains entry level operators, inventories stock, pulls, picks, and ships orders.</p> <p><strong>Key Job Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Successfully demonstrate all Level 1 tasks.</li> <li>Execute final packaging and distribution of products to appropriate destinations.</li> <li>Receive material from external operations in SAP.</li> <li>Follow instructions on delivery notes for shipments to distribution centers and customers.</li> <li>Independently packs orders for shipment.</li> <li>Receives daily products from stock transfers and outside vendors.</li> <li>Re-orders supplies such as boxes, bags, labels, and packing tubes.</li> <li>Works with planners to resolve shipping or receiving issues.</li> <li>Performs tasks with little to sometimes moderate supervision.</li> <li>Maintains / completes certifications.</li> <li>Performs transactions / resolves transaction discrepancies in the SAP / ERP system required to process material movements.</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining and ensuring workplace organization programs (5S, EHS) are adhered to for the assigned area.</li> </ul> <p>Complexity:</p> <p> ● Typically performs unskilled or semi-skilled work.</p> <p> ● Typically works autonomously</p> <p><strong>Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>High school diploma or equivalency</li> <li>3-5 years of relevant work experience</li> <li> Does not require vocational training nor a university degree</li> <li>Works with clearly defined / sometimes ambiguous methods and tasks that are described in detail.</li> <li>Contributes directly to specific unskilled tasks or processes.</li> <li>Has some discretion to vary from established procedures with supervision input.</li> <li>Contributes indirectly to specific unskilled tasks or processes.</li> <li>Previous forklift operating experience.</li> <li>Self-driven initiative and adaptability to solving problems autonomously. </li> </ul> </div> </div> <p> </p> <p>Kennametal Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer</p><p> Kennametal Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.</p>
