<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Football Sports Nutrition Student Assistant</strong><br>Purdue Sports Nutrition supports the daily needs of the student-athletes, the department is seeking dependable, determined, initiative-oriented students to help carry out the Sports Nutrition Mission of providing high performance nutrition strategies that keep boilermaker student-athletes in the game and to ensure the best possible outcomes both on the field of competition and in life beyond athletics<br><strong>Major Responsibilities</strong><br>- Practice and training session support: making shakes, assist in fueling and recovery of the football student-athletes<br>- Stocking and taking inventory<br>- Shipment receiving<br>- Food service, catering assistance<br>- Provide hydration and fueling during practice<br>- Travel packing and unpacking<br>- Game day field and locker room setup<br>- Other responsibilities as assigned</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong><br>- Must be a current Purdue student, nutrition majors preferred, enrolling in NUTR 245/345 highly preferred<br>- Good time management skills<br>- Attention to detail<br>- Ability to perform manual labor which may include lifting, carrying and long periods of standing and/or walking<br>- High level of professionalism as a representative of Purdue Athletics<br>- Maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and other athletic department staff, including student-athletes and coaches<br>- Must be able to work independently and perform at a high level within a group<br>- Must be able to take initiative and anticipate needs of the student-athletes and coaches<br>- Students must follow all HIPAA, FERPA, NCAA, and Purdue University rules and regulations.</p> <p><strong>Availability and Time Commitment</strong><br>- Ideally have some summer availability to support team workouts<br>- Students must be available for training camp: tentatively July 30 – August 30<br>- In-season – available for most practices during the week (3) and 1 weekend day, either game day or recovery day</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Education</b></H2> </div><div>0</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Experience</b></H2> </div><div>0</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>FLSA Status</b></H2> </div><div>Non-Exempt</div></div></div>
