Your expert skill in capturing clear and precise images will directly impact patient care outcomes and clinical decision-making.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other radiographic techniques in accordance with clinical protocols and legislation.</li> <li>Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality control standards to minimise radiation exposure to patients and staff.</li> <li>Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the examination.</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with radiologists, medical practitioners, and support staff to interpret imaging requirements and provide timely, accurate diagnostic images.</li> <li>Manage patient records and imaging data securely, adhering to privacy regulations and organisational policies.</li> <li>Participate in continuous professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of imaging technology advancements and radiographic practices.</li> </ul> <h2>Person Specification</h2> <ul> <li>Qualified Radiographer with relevant certification and registration in Papua New Guinea or equivalent recognised qualification.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in diagnostic radiography within a clinical or hospital setting.</li> <li>Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise and provide support to patients of diverse backgrounds and needs.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritising tasks efficiently in a busy medical environment.</li> <li>Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and patient-centred care.</li> </ul> <h2>Why Work with International SOS?</h2> <p>International SOS is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace where all team members feel valued and empowered.
