style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">To work within, promote and ensure compliance with International SOS’ OH&S, policies, safe work practices, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and corporate values.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Participate in the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Undertake all mandatory WHS training as required.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its OH&S legislative obligations.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Take reasonable care to ensure your own health and safety and the safety of others.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">To report any injury, hazard, or illness as soon as possible.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Ensure all workers including contractors participate in approved OH&S training programs.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Encourage positive attitudes towards OH&S.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Ensure the hazard identification & risk management process is utilized effectively to manage OH&S risks.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Apply OH&S policy and procedures to always ensure compliance with INTERNATIONALSOS and regulatory requirements for OH&S.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Actively participate in OWH&S inspections and audits including corrective actions.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Include OWH&S performance in worker performance appraisals.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Ensure all hazards and incidents are reported and investigated appropriately and suitable controls are implemented.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Ensure that workers are equipped with the information, instruction, training, and supervision that they need to work safely.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Maintain relevant <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc">High school diploma or equivalent </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Completion of an accredited EMT program</li> </ul> <p> <br><strong>Required Competencies </strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Demonstrating a strong orientation towards teamwork and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified, and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Work Experience</strong> </p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Previous EMT experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Occupational medicine experience (preferred)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications </strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc">EMT State Certification and/or National Registry</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification</li> <li
