style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>How You'll Contribute</b></H2> </div><div><p>As a Response Centre Nurse Practitioner, you’ll provide guidance, oversight, and critical decision-making to ensure safe, effective, and compliant medical operations:</p> <h3>Medical Supervision Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Support remote clinicians—including paramedics, nurses, and first aiders—by providing expert guidance in line with medical escalation procedures.</li> <li>Assess complex cases and deliver clear, informed direction to ensure medical due diligence and optimal patient management.</li> <li>Assist with occupational medicine case management, applying industry best practices to promote health and safety.</li> <li>Coordinate referrals and consultations with specialists and health system partners for comprehensive patient care.</li> <li>Provide telehealth assessments, monitor treatment plans, and collaborate with Medical Directors and online medical control physicians for top-tier oversight.</li> <li>Organize and supervise medical supervision for clients, including obtaining reports, arranging referrals, monitoring conditions, and recommending safe medical transportation.</li> <li>Ensure seamless handovers at shift changes to maintain continuity of care.</li> <li>Contribute to the development and enhancement of International SOS medical and logistical capabilities.</li> </ul> <h3>Medical Liaison & Reporting</h3> <ul> <li>Gather and communicate critical medical information, producing clear, professional reports for clients and stakeholders.</li> <li>Provide timely updates on patient progress and discuss appropriate management and disposition recommendations.</li> <li>Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all documentation, including case file updates and medical record management.</li> <li>Act as Medical Authenticator, validating required vaccinations and tests.</li> <li>Escalate cases appropriately to the Medical Director and maintain compliance with style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"></H2> </div><div><h3>Training & Development</h3> <ul> <li>Lead virtual CME sessions, orientations, and audits, sharing knowledge across MedSites in Canada.</li> <li>Organize and deliver training for healthcare professionals, introducing new processes and systems.</li> <li>Mentor and onboard field clinicians, making a positive impact on those early in their careers.</li> </ul> <h3>Additional Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, including RNs, paramedics, PAs, and physicians.</li> <li>Support controlled medication management in conjunction with supply chain teams.</li> <li>Participate in meetings, training, and departmental initiatives, contributing to team development.</li> <li>Maintain your own professional education, with International SOS supporting ongoing learning.</li> <li>Play a leading role in case management and operational improvements, working closely with leadership teams.</li> Looking For </b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Required Skills and Knowledge </strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong clinical skills and ability to lead and coach others </li> <li>Experience with electronic health records systems </li> <li>Occupational Medicine case management and recordability knowledge </li> <li>Knowledge of medical policies, regulations, and procedures </li> <li>Skilled in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence. </li> <li>Skill in developing and maintaining medical quality assurance and quality control standards. </li> <li>Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations. </li> <li>Ability to analyse and interpret data if an effort is to evaluate clinical performance. </li> <li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail. </li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills. </li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, typing, computer and communication skills </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications </strong></p> <ul> <li>Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a master's degree. </li> <li>Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar. </li> <li>Ability to obtain licensure in British Columbia, Saskatchewan or Manitoba. </li> <li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Certification within past 5 years. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Work Experience</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years independent practice experience in primary care/urgent care/acute care or occupational medicine. </li> <li>Preferred family all ages licensure, emergency nurse practitioner certification (ENP) or equivalent. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Languages </strong></p> <ul> <li>Fluency in English required </li> <li>Bilingual capability in French or other languages advantageous </li> </ul></div></div></div><p><span
