As an Editor at International SOS you will work with Medical I&A and consulting solutions to ensure a high quality of output.</p> <p> </p> <p>In addition to editing content to the highest standards, you will draft short advisories to notify clients of breaking security events worldwide. You will also provide high-quality editorial support to security intelligence operations by guiding reporting priorities and contributing to the development and training of Security Specialists.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p>• Edit and publish security and other content in line with Editorial Quality and service delivery standards.<br>• Draft short advisories to notify clients of breaking security events worldwide.<br>• Edit and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of security consulting products as required.<br>• Ensure consistency of security content against global and country thresholds and across membership service lines.<br>• Maintain daily reporting schedules and shift records.<br>• Provide high-quality editorial support to the security operations, including helping to guide reporting consistency, priorities and coverage.<br>• Support the development and training of Security Specialists and ensure they receive regular editorial feedback in line with established editorial quality standards.<br>• Assist in responding to client queries / feedback on security content as required.<br>• Provide expert editorial input and oversight of multiple types of content, including written and multimedia deliverables.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Requirements</H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p>• High proficiency at copy editing and proofreading <br>• Exceptional written and verbal communication and excellent attention to detail<br>• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines<br>• Significant editorial experience ideally in a news or current affairs environment.<br>• Strong understanding of global security issues<br>• Experience implementing quality management programmes and delivering measurable improvements.<br>• Experience of writing for a business audience.<br>• Strong MS Office software skills; experienced user of content management systems<br>• International experience an advantage; ability to work with diverse cross-cultural teams <br>• Multimedia and content development experience preferred.<br>• Undergraduate degree, preferably in journalism, politics or international relations or a related field.<br>• Excellent English languages skills <br>• Other languages an advantage.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Additional Information:</H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p>-Competitive starting salary, eligible for performance based bonus<br>-Structured career development track, with opportunities for progression <br>-5 Shifts over 7 days (7.5 hr shifts), rotational weekend work <br>-22 days annual leave increasing with service, UK Bank Holidays and the option to buy additional annual leave <br>-A day’s leave for your birthday<br>-Private health care, dental cover, pension scheme, life insurance, paid volunteering day <br>-Subsidised staff cafeteria and free tea, coffee and fruit<br>-Discount schemes (Cycle2work, season ticket loans, gym discounts)<br>-Access to our Employee Assistance & Employee Support Programme<br>-Access to Chiswick Business Park Enjoy Work events <br>Start date: (Mid-August)</p></div></div></div><p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">By joining International SOS, you will contribute to a global network dedicated to protecting people and organisations.
