Opportunity Overview We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, driven Field Application Engineer who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions. This is a regular full-time position and will be based in Teradyne Prachinburi. <ul> <li>Develop test processes including: test strategy, interface design, ATE, test software, fixturing, software tools, documentation, training, and process control capabilities.</li> <li>Integrate new processes into production. Serve as a technical resource for factory operations.</li> <li>Investigate and develop more efficient test processes utilizing metrics to indicate results. Go beyond individual defect investigation & characterization to understanding defect trends to influence testing directions.</li> <li>Data collection, analysis, SW debug to find out root cause at customer site with excellent performance.</li> <li>Develops and maintains a high degree of customer satisfaction and credibility by providing innovative, timely solutions to system’s problems.</li> <li>Weekly or daily analysis report to the field team and Teradyne engineering team.</li> <li>Moderate travel required, both within Asia and US to work with other engineering team and customer service team.</li> </ul> All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position. <ul> <li>Bachelor/Master’s in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic is preferred.</li> <li>Minimum 3-5 years working experience.</li> <li>Familiar with embedded system FPGA/Microcontroller architecture </li> <li>Familiar with SPI/I2C/SMBUS/UART inter-communication</li> <li>Familiar with network knowledge, DHCP, TFTP service and TCP/IP communication. </li> <li>Understand basic electronics circuits and debug capability.</li> <li>Familiar with both Windows and Linux basic command.</li> <li>Good skills in statistical software tools for complex data analysis and report.</li> <li>Knowledge of .NET framework, C/C++/C# programming with Visual Studio.</li> <li>Application or Test Development engineer in semiconductor/HDD/automation test process industry is advantage.</li> <li>Knowledge of developing test software on Labview or Mathlab is advantage</li> <li>Good communication, listening and writing in English skills.</li> <li>Good attitude and enthusiastic to work.</li> </ul> We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
