About this role
<p>This GCS technical specialist position delivers technical expertise for solution implementation to internal team engineers and external customers based on Teradyne product and service.<br>It provides support for assessment of customer needs, implementation of the solutions as well as product release support.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Major Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitor field engineers skillset by skill-level definition and propose suitable training to enhance engineers skillset.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Consolidate similar field issues together and perform knowledge sharing/learning with all engineers.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitoring/checking in-site related process and provide appropriate suggestion in problem solving, communication, escalation, etc... </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The specialist will join such critical/key issues discussion and to be the bridge between PSG/factory experts and field service team..</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform field Forum seminar with all team members every year. The field specialist is the coordinator to perform paper review with team leads and host seminar proceeding.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinate/report regional retrofit progress (PIP & PUP) and performing status update.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Join key activities in all regions and provide suggestion/observation to management team.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Technical Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Familiar with ATEs and production environment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Knowledge of troubleshooting process and skills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Knowledge of Load board schematics design and layout.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Knowledge of IC test theory.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Device correlation and test program release experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Driver and UI knowledge.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor degree or above in IC design, electrical engineering, RF, electronic, communication, microwave; above 10 years working experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience of ATE is Preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Logical thinking</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Business Travel requirement</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Can work under pressure</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Eager to new challenge, hunger for new technology</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong English Communication Skills</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong Interpersonal Skills and Problem-Solving Skills</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Good at Teamwork</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Self-starter with positive and optimistic manner.</li> </ul>
