Opportunity Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplined engineering team. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced test systems, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position. <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics or related discipline; master’s degree is preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">15+ years experience in fiber optic based optical instrumentation design engineering, with at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role. Project Management background in multi-functional project environments; PMP Certification preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams in multiple locations, cultures and time zones.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships with customers</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Familiar with CAD SW for mechanical engineering, optical engineering and electrical system design.</li> </ul> Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $151,800 - $242,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location. Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
