This includes supporting the execution of new business development initiatives and product line plan with operations, development, engineering, sales, and marketing organizations. The Applications Engineer also supplies the voice of the customer to the technology and development teams for new product and capability developments.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provide technical engineering expertise, in a commercial role, to key accounts of the semiconductor industry to support existing products as well as design-in qualification processes</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Understand key technology trends, engage with key customers in the region and build relationship with the technical community</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Establish the interface required for existing and new growth opportunities within the customer’s and Corning cross functional teams (materials manufacturing, finishing, coating, etc.); project and account managers; RD&E; and international sales office representatives</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Prepare and provide technical presentations and responses as required.
