The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.</span></p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Role Purpose</H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Lead the development, optimization, and technical control of polymer extrusion processes, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and continuous improvement through strategic use of materials knowledge, process technology, and technical leadership.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provides leadership in problem solving, and technical expertise, to ensure timely resolution of short-term process and equipment issues, and higher level troubleshooting</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provides direction to other technicians / engineers, coaches junior engineers, and provides guidance to maintenance personnel</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provides general engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understands theories and fundamentals), and capable of leading projects to get to root cause of issues, and put permanent solutions in place</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provides disciplined project leadership across multiple stages of innovation for new product, process, cost reduction and capacity improvement initiatives</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Recommends and implements permanent solutions to long term performance issues, and improves existing and new technologies and processes</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Develops and leads some areas of the manufacturing and/or technical roadmap.
