J. Keller is seeking an <strong>Industry Business Advisor</strong> with deep expertise in <strong>OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910)</strong>—and ideally <strong>Construction (29 CFR 1926)</strong> and <strong>NFPA 70E</strong>—to help shape the future of our Workplace Safety/EHS Compliance solutions. In this influential role, you’ll create and update regulatory content, advise internal teams and customers, and represent J. J. Keller as a subject matter expert at events, webinars, and training sessions.</p> <p> </p> <p>You’ll translate complex regulations into clear, practical guidance; support product development with expert insights; and bring customer perspectives back to the business. This role blends expertise, writing, and high‑visibility presenting, with <strong>40–50% travel</strong> to industry and customer-facing events. If you’re a seasoned safety professional looking to broaden your impact and elevate your voice in the industry, this role offers a unique platform to do so!</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Presents at Live Events, tradeshows, webinars, and other customer-facing events, including taking the lead role on writing and delivering these presentations.</li> <li>Establishes and develops agency, industry and other relevant contacts through correspondence, phone, and direct personal contact. Capitalizes on contacts to bring unique and informed perspectives back to the business.</li> <li>Actively seeks to stay current with OSHA regulations, enforcement trends, and emerging developments in EHS.</li> <li>Provides consultation to product/service line managers, development resources, executives, sales and others on strategic or high-profile initiatives.</li> <li>Assists management with developing the knowledge and skills of team members through coaching, mentoring, and training. </li> <li>Attends and presents at industry relevant events and represents the company on relevant boards. Provides regulatory knowlege, product knowledge and training support to customers via phone and email, webinars, presentations at outside events, and written content.</li> <li>Researches, writes, reviews and/or edits material for guides/manuals, handbooks, newsletters and on-line services.</li> <li>Suggests new products/services and revisions of existing products/services.<br> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in an EHS compliance-related role which requires regulatory expertise in OSHA General Industry.</li> <li>Experience in Construction environments, and/or electrical safety programs (including NFPA 70E) a plus.</li> <li>Experience developing written materials.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field, with coursework or experience related to workplace safety, OSHA compliance, or electrical safety. <ul> <li>In lieu of a bachelor's degree, two years of additional related experience may be considered.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Relevant EHS or safety certifications preferred, such as CSP, CIH, CHST, OHST, or demonstrated experience in OSHA compliance.</li> <li>Knowledge of construction safety and/or electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E) a plus.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Computer Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.</li> <li>Experience with Adobe InCopy and Content Management Systems preferred.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Broad-level knowledge/expertise across EHS disciplines, with strong emphasis on OSHA General Industry requirements and practical application.</li> <li>Professional communication skills - written, verbal and presentation.</li> <li>Ability to research, analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources.</li> <li>Ability to plan projects and meet deadlines, working both independently and in a team environment.</li> <li>Ability to effectively utilize technology/tools to communicate/deliver training in multiple formats.</li> <li>Ability to assess audience’s engagement and understanding of material and to adjust content and presentation style as appropriate.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em>Internal J.
