<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Req ID: 28906</b></H2> </div><div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Follow enterprise standards, procedures, physical data storage, maintenance, access, backup and recovery, documentation, security and best practice in a team environment.</li> <li>Responsible for the installation, update, configuration and production support for all SQL server database services and servers</li> <li>Provides SQL DBA support based on SQL monitoring and maintenance solutions, responds to SQL alerts, and provides on-call support.</li> <li>Works closely with application and IT teams to design and optimize all DB environments</li> <li>Performs advanced database administration activities including installation, configuration, monitoring, space management, database backup and recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.</li> <li>Performs installation, configuration, and maintenance for SQL server AlwaysOn Availability Group</li> <li>Performs database environment reviews and provides DB improvement solutions to application owners</li> <li>Provide HA and DR solutions for Dev, Test and productions environments</li> <li>Provide technical writing and detailed documentation on technology standards and procedures and make recommendations for optimization.</li> <li>Independently be able to provide performance measures of transactional database; identifying bottlenecks, disk analysis and other metrics to provide tunning recommendations.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of database internals, security, encryption, and performance optimization.</li> <li>Proficiency in T-SQL programming and complex query optimization.</li> <li>Experience with SQL Server installation, configuration, patching, migration, and HA/DR strategies.</li> <li>Strong understanding of MS SQL Server database technologies and architecture principles.</li> <li>Ability to provide 24x7 support for production environments, including emergency response for high-priority incidents.</li> <li>Experience with monitoring tools and proactive alert systems for access logs and error logs.</li> <li>Familiarity with SOX compliance standards and Segregation of Duties (SOD) policies.</li> <li>Experience with both on-premises and cloud environments.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in team environments.</li> </ul></div></div></div>
