This position will be a member of the manufacturing testing team in the company's headquarters located in San Jose, CA. The Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for planning and controlling all scheduling activities supporting assigned brands, balance production and inventory levels with demand to master scheduling requirements, inventory objectives, and capacity utilization/staffing requirements.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></H2> </div><div><ol> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Plan and manage production schedules to meet delivery timelines and capacity targets.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks or abnormalities, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Coordinate production status updates, shipping schedules, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Develop and maintain production plans and coordinate with supply chain and inventory management teams.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Handle production deviations and coordinate corrective actions with manufacturing and quality teams.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Propose and implement improvements in production scheduling and workflow processes to increase efficiency.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Manage mid-to-long-term production demand forecasting and capacity planning.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Collect, analyze, and report production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Monitor product quality and production yields, collaborating with teams to resolve defects or inefficiencies.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Act as a communication bridge between production, materials, logistics, and customer service teams.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Utilize SAP or equivalent ERP systems to manage operations, inventory, and production data.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing and operational excellence.</span></li> </ol></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications:</b></H2> </div><div><ol> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
