Therefore, you can anticipate learning about several different specialties within the perioperative world including: orthopedics, plastics, thoracics, neurosurgery, ortho/spine, gender affirmation surgeries, laparoscopic surgery, general surgery, trauma, and more! </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is an individual with specialized education who functions as a member of the operating room team to help ensure safe, efficient, and successful surgical procedures/outcomes.
