Position overview: As the Technical Operator, you’re a key member of the wider Kettering Team that plays a critical part in supporting the plant's overall business plans and objectives. This role includes 8.5‑hour shifts, rotating between early, late, and night shifts. Your key responsibilities include: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Complies with practices, policies, and procedures in the plant.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Take ownership of the production area and create a safe and efficient work environment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Demonstrates an aptitude for mechanical equipment and ability to use hand tools.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Conducts inspection of the in-process or finished products to ensure quality targets are achieved.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Assists with equipment maintenance by performing routine checks and lubrication.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Initiate and support lean and improvement initiatives.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">General housekeeping in all areas – lab, around washer, WWT & chemical stores, flammable store, coolant filter area.</li> </ul> What are we looking for? <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Mechanical skills (gained via apprenticeship or experience).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Proficient in the use of hand tools.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Sound communication skills, ability to clearly explain processes.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Fluency in written and spoken English.</li> </ul> #LI-IS1 #LI-OnsiteBall Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
