You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility. Swing Shift Schedule: 4 days-on-4 days off, 7AM/PM-7PM/AM. Schedule rotates every 9 weeks. Your Key Responsibilities Include: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Operate forklift and coordinate products including raw materials, scrap, finished goods, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Effectively communicate with vendors, delivery drivers, and customers. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> communicating, and upholding ethical integrity. </li> </ul> Required Experience & Skills: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> High School Diploma or education equivalent. </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> 1 year of work experience in an industrial environment. </li> </ul> Preferred Experience & Skills: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> 3 or more years of operation and maintenance of forklift. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Working knowledge of proper hazardous waste management. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Experience using JD Edwards, AS900, or similar warehouse or ERP system. </li> </ul> Physical Environment & Working Conditions: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> May be subject to all of the following, but not limited to: </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Hot/Cold working conditions. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Loud /Noisy environment. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Climbing (stairs, catwalks, and other equipment as necessary). </li> </ul> Compensation & Benefits <ul> <li>Hiring Salary Range: $ 27.89.</li> </ul> When submitting your application to Ball, we encourage you to emphasize your skills, experience, and qualifications that align with the role.
