The position provides technical and project support to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and cost performance across regional plants. The role also contributes to capital projects and offers hands-on engineering support across tooling and production processes within aluminium can manufacturing.</span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <h3><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Your responsibilities:</span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support light weighting and downgauging projects to meet engineering and business targets</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Assist in capital projects including machine specifications, tooling design, procurement, and commissioning</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Contribute to improving manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost reduction initiatives</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Provide technical support to resolve tooling and process-related issues across regional plants</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Use statistical tools such as SPC, Six Sigma, and Minitab for analysis, development, and problem under supervision, ensuring timelines and objectives are met</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Assist with design modifications and testing of new or improved can designs prior to production trials</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support mechanical testing and measurement of tooling and products</span></li> <li sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Apprenticeship or qualification in Manufacturing or Engineering (ONC or equivalent preferred)</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Knowledge of metal forming processes, tooling design, and high-speed manufacturing environments</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or similar</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Familiarity with statistical tools such as Minitab or SPC</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills</span></li> <li
