Position overview: The Palletizer will have to keep palletisers running smoothly without backing the lines up. In case of a problem occurring with palletiser operation, you try and fix the issue, keeping the area clean and tidy with good housekeeping. You also perform quality checks on cans and pallets. Key responsibilities include: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Complies with practices, policies, and procedures in the plant</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Take ownership of the production area and create a safe and efficient work environment</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Demonstrates an aptitude for mechanical equipment and ability to use hand tools</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Conducts inspection of the in-process or finished products to ensure quality targets are achieved</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Assists with equipment maintenance by performing routine checks and lubrication</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Initiate and support lean and improvement initiatives </li> </ul> What are we looking for? <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Mechanical and/or maintenance skills (gained via apprenticeship or experience)</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience working in manufacturing, high-speed manufacturing being preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Proficient in the use of hand tools</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Sound communication skills, ability to clearly explain processes</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Fluency in written and spoken English</li> </ul> #LI-IS1 #LI-OnsiteBall Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
