Position overview: The position focuses on coordinating production planning with an external filling site, ensuring alignment between internal production lines and external schedules. Production Planning & Control Specialist is responsible for the immediate horizon (0-7 days) production of cans at the plant level. Your key responsibilities include: <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs his/her tasks timely and in accordance with the plan in such a way and at such a level as to ensure uninterrupted production and sale to the highest customer's satisfaction with the lowest costs to the company.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Creates and monitors production scheduling for one plant in EMEA region.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Plans consumption of special varnishes and inks used for production. Coordinates activities with the stakeholders. Liaises with foreign plants that cans are exported to.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Makes sure production of cans meets the delivery plans.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Analyzes the planning tool (LineLoad) on a monthly basis. Reports significant deviations from the plan to stakeholders. Coordinates performance with Production Managers and Quality Managers.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintains a required stock of finished goods to meet customer's long-term and short-term requirements with minimum possible costs. Adheres to the main KPI as DOS (Days of Sales). Reviews customer requests against stocks/ production plans, agrees with customers and schedules for production.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Supervises and coordinates, conjointly with Graphics Coordinators, adjustments to existing designs and launches of new ones.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Participates in S&OP meetings. Monitors deviations from LineLoad, reports the demand and supply balance and coordinates operation of lines jointly with all stakeholders.</li> </ul> What are we looking for? <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Broad training in a related field usually acquired through secondary school or work-related experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Job related experience for 2 year(s) minimum.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ability to apply independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard plant production techniques, procedures, and criteria.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">English and German fluency. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">SAP knowledge and experience in plant/production environments would be advantegous.</li> </ul> <div> <div> <div> Work Environment: The role is primarily onsite in Ludesch (3 days office / 2 days remote after onboarding). Hiring Rate: 51,400 – 74,000 EUR gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies, while taking into account internal equity and the M+E NRW collective bargaining agreement. Bonus Plan: This position is eligible to participate in Ball’s annual incentive compensation program.
