About the role We're looking for a Senior Manager – Infrastructure Operations to lead the safe, secure and reliable operation of Origin's corporate and operational technology (OT) infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Networks, Operational Technology and Delivery, you'll lead a team of 10 and take accountability for day-to-day infrastructure support, incident response and operational performance across networks, hosting platforms and cyber security services. This is a critical leadership role at the intersection of IT and OT — protecting the availability of systems that underpin Origin's energy operations at scale. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and manage the Infrastructure Operations team, delivering day-to-day support and request fulfilment across corporate networks, OT networks, hosting platforms and cyber security services.</li> <li>Own operational performance and reliability, ensuring availability, stability and timely restoration of services across critical environments.</li> <li>Establish clear prioritisation frameworks so incidents, requests and operational issues are triaged and resolved based on business and safety criticality.</li> <li>Act as senior escalation point for major incidents and operational risks, ensuring effective communication to stakeholders and leadership.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure monitoring, alerting and response capabilities across corporate and OT environments.</li> <li>Provide strong leadership, coaching and direction to senior operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, resilience and collaboration.</li> <li>Partner closely with Cyber Security, Architecture, Engineering and Business Technology teams to manage risk and improve end-to-end service outcomes.</li> </ul> What you'll bring <ul> <li>Extensive experience leading large-scale infrastructure operations or service reliability functions in complex enterprise environments.</li> <li>Strong understanding of corporate and OT networks, hosting platforms and cyber security operations, including the differing risk and availability profiles of IT and OT environments.</li> <li>Proven experience in incident management, problem management and operational governance.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing operational teams, including managers and senior technical leaders.</li> <li>Excellent decision-making skills in high-impact or time-critical situations, with the ability to translate ambiguous information into clear operational actions.</li> <li>Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level reporting.</li> <li>Experience in critical services, utilities, energy or regulated environments is highly regarded, as is knowledge of ITIL-aligned service management practices.</li> </ul> Origin - Where good change happens At Origin, we’re powered by people who believe in creating change.
