Responsibilities of the position include: <ul> <li>Direct and supervise a trade crew on a consistent basis and frequently direct over 30 employees and supervise multiple trades.</li> <li>Communicate staffing requirements to Production Manager.</li> <li>Participate in the pre-planning process in preparation for goals meetings.</li> <li>Ensure the job is properly staffed.</li> <li>Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars and take appropriate action to achieve goals.</li> <li>Enter daily time and production through E&K Austin lane entry.</li> <li>Create job specific QA tasks identified during job start process.</li> <li>Perform routine QA inspections and create report through Go Canvas App.</li> <li>Generate material orders by specific areas.</li> <li>Manage job cost through review and analyzation of job cost monitoring report.</li> <li>Monthly forecasting of job cost.</li> <li>Management of Subcontractors.</li> <li>Ensure that all materials, tools, equipment, subcontractor, and general contractor are scheduled daily and are on site in a timely manner.</li> <li>Attend and participate in all required company training programs.</li> <li>Attend all job site meetings whenever scheduled.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> Requirements for the position include: <ul> <li>Completed 30hr OSHA Training.</li> <li>Completed Field Management Training</li> <li>Ability to effectively manage crews of 30+ employees.</li> <li>Knowledge and ability to supervise the use of all tools, material, equipment, and personnel.</li> <li>Knowledge of mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction, and decimals.</li> <li>Advanced Knowledge of Bluebeam, OST, and Quick bid.</li> <li>Skill in verbal and written communication, including the ability to actively listen and express oneself clearly.</li> <li>Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and/or stilts.</li> <li>Ability to read detailed (blueprint) plans and specifications and comply with building codes.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills.</li> </ul> Union wages for the position: $26.24 - $30.00 / hour depending on experience Benefits include retirement plan, employee assistance plan, and union benefits E&K is proud to be an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action, E-Verify, and Drug Free Employer.
