Because we value our employees, we strive to provide a competitive salary and benefits package.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in"><span style="">This position will be responsible for project cost analysis, coordination with field operations, customer development, and relationship building.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in"><span style="">This position is located in our Omaha, Nebraska, office.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in"><span style=""><strong> </strong></span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in"><span style=""><strong>Key Responsibilities include:</strong></span></p> <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Recommend short-term objectives and long-range sales/marketing goals including pricing and job selection policies.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Bidding, selling, and marketing E&K’s services and products, including monitoring market and technical trades.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Participate and be accountable for development and implementation of marketing plans.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Manage and coordinate current projects by documenting and interacting with other departments and clients for proper progress of jobs.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Process contracts and change orders in a timely manner.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Assist in determining amount of monthly progress billings.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Ensure that the proper information is provided to other departments.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Review, understand, and monitor contract language and note concerns for the Manager’s review.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Establish qualified subcontractor bids and scope in determining contracts.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Conform to all company policies and procedures.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Attend and participate in all required company training programs.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0in"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in"><span style=""><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Minimum 3+ years of experience with commercial construction experience in estimating.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Required experience with BuzzBID, QuickBid, or similar estimating software.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Metal framing, ceilings, and/or drywall construction experience preferred.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Solid experience with Bluebeam or similar software.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, schedules, and specifications.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Knowledge of construction budgets, scheduling, and estimating.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Strong time management skills.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Ability to multi-task & prioritize.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Strong verbal and written communication skills – will regularly interact verbally and in writing, with internal and external partners.</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"><span style="">Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially in Outlook and Excel.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0in"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in"><span style=""><strong>Work Environment & Location</strong></span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in"><span style="">Our industry is built on relationships, collaboration, and shared purpose — making in-person connection an important part of how we work.
