Major Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Thoroughly familiarize yourself with project plans, specifications, addenda, shop drawings, and estimates.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Review and adhere to project budget sheets, ensuring financial goals are met.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Coordinate with the office for the timely delivery of equipment, tools, and materials.</li> </ul> <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li>Collaborate closely with the Painting Production team for seamless coordination.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Calculate unit costs based on material quantity, hours worked, and labor dollars, taking proactive measures to achieve goals.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Regularly review job-cost monitoring and projection reports, taking corrective actions as needed.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Oversee the daily preparation of timecards and ensure timely submission to the office by Friday.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain a daily log of events, submitting copies of log sheets to the main office weekly.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Attend scheduled job meetings to stay informed and contribute effectively.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Coordinate any work order changes with the Project Manager/Estimator and the Painting Production Department, maintaining an accurate daily log of these changes.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the General Contractor to ensure project safety practices align with company standards and OSHA regulations.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations of the company and comply with OSHA standards.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Coordinate all scaffold placement, erection, and dismantling with the Safety Director.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Attend all foreman's meetings as scheduled to stay informed and contribute to the team.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Arrive at work on time, consistently, at various locations as required.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Attend and actively participate in all required company training programs.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Conform to all company policies and procedures.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.</li> </ul> Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: <ul> <li>Demonstrate a willingness to learn company safety policies and stay updated on applicable OSHA standards.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Possess knowledge and ability to supervise the use of tools, materials, and equipment in the application of paint products.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to operate conventional and airless spray equipment, rollers, and brush finishes.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to accurately measure materials.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to work on scaffolds, ladders, stilts, and operate boom lifts and motorized platforms.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proficient in reading plans and specifications (blueprints).</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability and willingness to work in a team environment with effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and clear expression.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrate the ability to motivate employees through positive feedback and appropriate rewards.</li> </ul> To apply: Please apply online to submit your application or contact Victor Orozco 480-915-4848 E&K is proud to be an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action, E-Verify, and Drug Free Employer.
