Responsibilities include: <ol> <li>Layout and install drywall beads. </li> <li>Prepare all drywall surfaces to receive drywall finish products. </li> <li>Mix, carry and apply joint compound to drywall finishes. </li> <li>Tape, coat, finish and sand joint compound ready for decoration. </li> <li>Hand or machine texture walls or ceiling per plans and specifications. </li> <li>Clean up, protect, move material, tools & equipment. </li> <li>Erect and dismantle scaffolds. </li> <li>Conform to all safety rules and regulations of the Company and OSHA standards. </li> <li>Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked and labor dollars. </li> <li>Arrive to work on time at various locations. </li> <li>Attend and participate in all required company training programs. </li> <li>Conform to all company policies and procedures. </li> <li>Other duties as assigned. </li> </ol> Requirements include: <ul> <li>The ability and willingness to learn company safety policies and applicable OSHA standards.</li> <li>Knowledge and ability to use tools, materials, and equipment necessary for completing finish carpentry projects.</li> <li>Knowledge of basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.</li> <li>Ability to read (blueprints) plans and specifications.</li> <li>Ability to accurately measure materials.Ability to follow directions.</li> <li>Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and stilts.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, with frequent one-on-one and group activity.</li> <li>Lifting over 100 lbs. occasionally (doors or studs).</li> <li>Lifting 50-60 lbs. frequently.
