Timken Aurora Bearing Company is seeking a 1st and 2nd Shift Assembly CNC Machinist that will perform a variety of functions within our Assembly departments while adhering to the safety, quality, and productivity standards of Timken Aurora Bearing Company. Assembly CNC Machinist Essential Job Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt">Set-up and operate CNC Lathes adhering to the safety, quality and quantity standards of Aurora Bearing Company.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:12.0pt">Perform all duties as assigned in a safe and efficient manner with an emphasis on quality. </li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:12.0pt">Select and Change arbors, fixtures, inserts and tooling.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:12.0pt">Program computer for O.D. and I.D. size, facing, chamfering, grooving, drilling or other machining requirements.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:12.0pt">Run 1st piece part, make necessary adjustments to attain quality characteristics per print specifications and complete necessary paperwork to attain a set-up approval.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:12.0pt">Load parts, cycle machine, check parts at designated intervals and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality characteristics of part per print specifications throughout machining operations.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:12.0pt">Package and tag parts, complete all required paperwork including SPC charting.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:12.0pt">Move parts to and from work area and scale as needed. This full-time position is eligible to participate in the paid time off plan, 401k, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
