You will work on developing software applications for Nuclear Safety Instrumentation and Control systems, using the Westinghouse Common Q Platform. You will report to the Manager, I&C Safety Software and be located in Warrendale, PA. This is a hybrid role. <h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> Develop, Modify, and maintain application software for I&C Safety System products. </li> <li> Develop requirements and design documentation for implemented software. </li> <li> Perform documentation and code reviews for implemented software. </li> <li> Work with several external groups to support the testing and certification of the Safety System Software. </li> <li> Evaluate, troubleshoot, and address reported software issues (internal/external). </li> <li> Complete assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements. </li> <li> Work with a mentor and colleagues to further develop skillset within the team </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications:</h2> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> 4+ years of experience in software development, especially in a highly regulated field. </li> <li> Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. </li> <li> Knowledge of distributed I&C architectures. </li> <li> Experience with any of the following: PLC function block programming, C/C++, SQL/Access, Git/Subversion or similar software configuration management tool, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD solution, IBM DOORs or similar requirements management tool. </li> <li> Familiarity with the software waterfall development model </li> <li> Have a mindset for solving a variety of software related problems </li> <li>We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
