You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of PLM environments across development, testing, and production systems. The Principal Engineer collaborates with IT, security, and application teams to lead system upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to platform strategy. You will report to the Manager, Information and Document Management Solutions. This is a remote position in the US, Poland or Spain. <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li> Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE platform components (3DSpace, 3DPassport) across DEV, QA, and PROD. </li> <li> Define standards for scalable and secure platform solutions. </li> <li> Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high reliability. </li> <li> Manage system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes with Infrastructure and Operations teams. </li> <li> Ensure successful database and server snapshots/backup, and recovery processes with DBA, Infrastructure and Operations teams. </li> <li> Contribute to the development of disaster recovery strategies, and associated disaster recovery tabletop exercises and tests. </li> <li> Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and lead security audits for PLM systems. </li> <li> Automate platform administration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools. </li> <li> Develop automation scripts using MQL, TCL, Bash, and PowerShell for system operations and optimization </li> <li> Complete administrative tasks with scripting (batch / cron jobs, migration scripts, configuration updates) </li> <li> Troubleshoot complex platform-related issues and provide root cause analysis. </li> <li> Document system architectures, configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines. </li> <li> Mentor junior engineers and contribute to platform planning and continuous improvement. </li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li> Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field </li> <li> 5+ years direct experience administering and supporting Enovia/3DEXPERIENCE environments </li> <li> Experience with Enovia/3DEXPERIENCE architecture and deployment models </li> <li> Understanding of Dassault best practice </li> <li> Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server system administration and shell scripting </li> <li> Experience with platform patching, upgrades, change, and release management </li> <li> Experience supporting and administering application servers (TomEE, IIS) </li> <li> Experience supporting and administering ENOVIA integration middleware platforms such as TECHNIA Integration Framework (TIF) and associated integrations with ERP, MES, PowerBI and other platforms </li> <li> Experience Oracle, MSSQL </li> <li> Understanding of JVM tuning, memory management, and application performance optimization </li> <li> Knowledge of SSL/TLS, certificates, networking, firewalls, and load balancing </li> </ul> We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,000 to $129,000 per year.
