We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.</p> <p> </p><p><span style="">About the role:</span></p> <p><span style="">As a Safety System Engineer you will implement comprehensive plans and strategies for delivering high-quality engineering products.</span></p> <p><span style="">You will work with the project team members and with subcontractors and customer experts. Your responsibilities will include the design, testing, installation, testing, startup, and commissioning of I&C systems, such as EAGLE I&C Platform Systems and DPS System.</span></p> <p><span style="">You will report to the I&C Engineering Manager and be located Temelin (NPP), Czech Republic.</span></p> <p><span style="">Model of work: hybrid.</span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="">Key Responsibilities:</span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Develop project specific software modifications</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Develop technical project documentation (Requirement specifications, Functional specifications, Design specifications, System descriptions, Reports, Operational & Maintenance documentation)</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Perform test and commissioning activities both at the factory and on site, incl. Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Warranty & Post Warranty Activities and Support</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Aftermarket Support & Maintenance Activities (e.g. Troubleshooting I&C systems HW and SW failures, performing regular diagnostic analysis of I&C systems)</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Participation in technical meetings both project internal and with the customer.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Obsolescence Management Database (OMD) data maintenance support.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Work within the proper communication channels with the customer, project subcontractors and different Westinghouse offices.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Help acquire and verify customer design inputs supplied to support design and installation activities.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Help create and support the spirit of teamwork among the Westinghouse team members in the office in Czech Republic and worldwide.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Comply with applicable company procedures and complete qualification programs required to perform job tasks.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">The Westinghouse Management assigns additional assignments to support technical or project management needs, and perform them.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="">Qualifications:</span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Technical University Degree</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Programming experience (e.g. C/C++ or other programming language)</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Electrical Qualification to work under the 1000 VDC - Education should allow to maintain such qualification (former Decree 50/1978, now changed to NV 194/2022 Sb.)</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Good English skills</span></li> </ul> <p style=""> </p> <p><span style="">#LI-Hybrid</span></p><p> </p> <h3>Why Westinghouse?</h3> <p>We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
