We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.</p><h2>About the role:</h2> <p>As an AP1000 SRO Training Instructor you will deliver high-level training, with passion for teaching, and your pedagogical skills.</p> <p>You should demonstrate organizational abilities such as teamwork, customer orientation and progress.</p> <p>You will report to the Operations and Technical Training Manager and be located at Madrid.</p> <p>Hybrid position with a mix of on-site and off-site model.</p> <h2>Main Responsibilities:</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in all stages of the SAT process of the initial and continuing education programs of their specialty.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage the analysis, design and implementation of initial and continuous training needs in their specialty.</p> </li> <li> <p>Design, development and implementation of the sessions corresponding to the initial and continuous training courses of licensed and non-licensed operations personnel, including teaching sessions in the classroom, plant, and the simulator.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate in the analysis and implementation of corrections in the simulator when any type of malfunction is detected, and collaborate in the tests.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate training, providing support to training committees and planning training programs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Define and collaborate in the development of advanced educational means (simulators, multimedia, videos, and models...) related to the assigned responsibilities; and in the maintenance and updating of those already available.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Requirements:</h2> <p>Graduates of a University Degree or Master's Degree in scientific-technical specialties (Engineering, Physics...).</p> <p>7+ years of experience as an operation instructor.</p> <p>Availability to establish residence in our Madrid Headquarters or a nearby location.</p> <p>Proficient in English language.</p> <p>Availability to travel and stay in national and international locations during participation in projects sporadically</p> <p>Driver's license required.</p> <p>Experience in power plants or industrial facilities valuable.</p> <p> </p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p><h2>Why Westinghouse?</h2> <p>We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
