<p>Foreman - Contract</p> <p>WECTEC Staffing - BHI Energy is currently looking for a Working Foreman. You will work onsite at the Roxboro Power Plant located in Roxboro, NC.</p> <p>Responsible for day-to-day direction and supervision of work activities of direct reports within assigned areas.</p> <p>You will report to the department manager.</p> <p>#LI-onsite</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Specific Duties and Responsibilities –</strong></p> <p>Specific job responsibilities and duties should include but not be limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Direct daily activities of assigned personnel</li> <li>Augment and support assigned personnel in areas requiring additional assistance and at times where work demand his higher than expected</li> <li>Conduct and document focused observations of work activities for safety and operational improvement opportunities</li> <li>Provide direct coordination between client personnel and work group to understand daily and weekly work scope</li> <li>All duties and responsibilities contained within Job Description for those personnel being supervised</li> <li>Notify management of need for repairs</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct and actively participate in Pre-Job and Safety Briefings</li> <li>Follow established safe work practices</li> <li>Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets/forms properly</li> <li>Climb and work from ladders and scaffolding if necessary</li> <li>Capable of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license required</li> <li>High school diploma, GED or equivalent.</li> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li> <li>You will pass background and pre-employment drug screen.</li> <li>1 year foreman experience.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities</strong></p> <p>We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
